Cigars in the Parlor - Final Chapter

For those who have been downloading "Cigars in the Parlor", I thank you for your support and hope you have been enjoying the adventure.  I have finished writing and have begun editing the final chapter of "Cigars in the Parlor".   In Part 6, tentatively titled "War's End", Kit and Wallace find themselves in "Hellmira" - the infamous Union prison camp located in Elmira, New York. Here, over one in four prisoners died - though I promise that Kit and Wallace will find a happy ending on the beach.   Watch for the release of Part 6 by May 7th! 

Once Part 6 is published, I plan to expand and revise the entire series into a single novel.  I will let everyone know the release date for the compendium volume when I get closer to publishing it - but it will likely be in late summer or early fall.

Until then, watch for other short stories on Amazon.

The Cover Too Hot for Amazon

  Today marks the release of The Milkman ,  a new novel about a sexy gay milkman who struggles to find love during the lavender scare of the 1950s.   Unfortunately, you cannot find this particular cover on Amazon as it is too racy to be featured there.  Amazon curates its book covers carefully. Authors that want to keep their accounts are careful not to trigger any of its unwritten rules -- which are thought to include a prohibition on implied nudity and even the image of someone making a face as if having an orgasm. Nonetheless, I thought my readers would enjoy the book cover that should have been. The evolution of a Porn Director

The Sword has an interesting article on director Jerry Douglas - one of the few porn directors to actually focus on story-line and characterization above all.  He started on Broadway and moved on from there. Think we can get him to film "Cigars in the Parlor" as an homage to "Gone with the Wind"?
